TELUS Health Student Support for Faculty/Staff
We’re pleased to announce that, CCRI has partnered with TELUS Health Student Support. TELUS Health Student Support provides 24/7 remote mental health and wellbeing support to students, including real-time and scheduled access to professional counselors.
The app and its services are free for students and aims to support the wellbeing and retention of our students by complementing our existing campus resources. By providing accessible wraparound supports for our students, we can help foster positive outcomes and increased student success and retention.
Students will now have access to support services customized for them by counselors who:
- Are Master’s-level clinicians
Speak multiple languages*
Are available 24/7 for real-time support or scheduled sessions
Can be reached through mobile chat, phone, and video
Are experienced in supporting students through the unique challenges they face
Be an advocate.
If you’re concerned about a student, have a conversation with them and introduce the idea of reaching out to TELUS Health Student Support for support. Help explain to them what TELUS Health Student Support is, what kinds of issues the counselors can help with, and if they’re interested, help them download and set up the app. Once they have the app installed, you can easily facilitate a warm introduction between the student and a professional clinician.
