Transcripts
The Community College of Rhode Island has partnered with the National Student Clearinghouse to provide online ordering service for transcripts. This option is only available to students who attended CCRI after 1985. If you enrolled prior to 1985, please click to complete a transcript request form and submit via e-mail to [email protected]. (Note: your written signature is required on the form for processing). This form is only required for students who attended 1985 and prior.
TO ORDER YOUR E-TRANSCRIPT ONLINE:
You must use your social security number to locate your student record in our database.
The following transcript ordering option is available:
E-Transcripts: An electronic PDF is the most expeditious option, but the person ordering should ensure the recipient(s) will accept it electronically. CCRI cannot reissue or refund electronic transcripts that are not retrieved. Electronic transcripts are only “official” if sent directly to the intended recipient; it is not transferable. It is the requestor’s responsibility to ensure the accuracy of the recipient’s email address.
Cost (per copy):
Electronic Exchange: $2.90 processing convenience fee
(This is for higher education institutions who participate in electronic exchange)
Electronic PDF: $3.90 processing convenience fee
Delivery:
Electronic PDF transcripts are usually delivered within 24 hours. (Transcripts ordered on weekends and holidays will be processed the next business
day.)
Attaching Documents (if applicable):
You may attach up to three documents to be included with your transcript. (CCRI does
not assume responsibility regarding the legibility or content of your document(s).
Mail option via United States Postal Service:
Cost: $5.05 ($2.90 processing fee plus $2.15 mailing fee)
Mail orders are processed approximately 1–3 business days from receipt of the request,
plus delivery time by the United States Postal Service.
Important End of Term Notice:
If you are a current student and want this semester’s grades to appear on your transcript, please place your order after your grades have posted to your student record. If you are completing your degree this semester, please place your order after your degree has been awarded and is posted to your student record.

Transcript requests accepted by e-mail: Please send your request from your CCRI email address to [email protected]. Transcripts will ONLY be mailed to the address on file, unless, a signed official transcript request form is attached to the e-mail.

Request official transcript by mail/fax*
Please allow 5-7 business days to process, unless the student is having the transcript held for final grades or degree posting.
Official transcripts that are requested directly through CCRI by mail or fax are now available free of charge - there is a limit of 5 transcripts per request. The following form, that you can download, print out, and complete, is required in order to request a transcript directly from CCRI by mail or fax:

Request Official Transcript in Person
Each time a person wishes to obtain a transcript, they can visit any of the 4 main campuses (located in Warwick, Lincoln, Providence or Newport) during regular office hours. The person needs to bring a picture ID. Official transcripts that are requested in person are now available free of charge - there is a limit of 5 transcripts per request. Any request of more than 5 transcripts may take 5-7 business days to process.
