For Students
The Tutoring Center provides in-person and online tutoring and academic coaching to help you achieve success. Don’t wait to ask for help! All services are at no cost to you.
Tutoring Programs
Our Center provides professional tutors and peer tutors who have been recommended by CCRI faculty to provide tutoring for their courses. Tutoring helps you learn course material for a specific class by clarifying course concepts and practice with course materials. You do not have to be in jeopardy of failing to get help from a tutor. Watch the video directions below to learn how to book appointments with a CCRI tutor through Starfish.
How to Schedule Tutoring Appointments
In addition to CCRI tutors, you have access to private online tutors 24/7 through our partnership with Pear Deck Tutor. Schedule appointments with a Pear Deck Tutor through your CCRI Blackboard account.
Partner with an Academic Coach*
Academic coaching is a personalized student-coach partnership with appointments tailored to your needs. Meetings may include discussing organization and time management skills, textbook-reading techniques, note-taking tips, and test-taking strategies. We offer coaching services as one-time appointments or a series of consultations throughout the semester. Watch the video directions below to learn how to book appointments through Starfish.
