Where can I print?

You can print at all four campuses from your computer to any of the conveniently located Ricoh MFDs.

How do I print?

Faculty and Staff may have certain printers automatically mapped to their CCRI-issued computers when they log in. You can also print to various Ricoh MFDs on your campus by sending your print job to the FollowMe queue.

To print, you will need your CCRI ID card or username and password.

From the computer you have signed into, print to the FollowMe printer queue.

On any Ricoh MFD, locate the reader and tap your CCRI ID card or log in with your CCRI username and password.

From the menu tap the Print Release icon. Select the individual print job to print or select "Print All" to release all print jobs inyour queue. Once you select a print job you can select "Cancel Job" to delete it.

You can then select "Back" for the previous menu or "Log Out". If you do not log yourself out, PaperCut will automatically log you out after 30 seconds. 

How do I scan from the printer?

To scan, you will need your CCRI ID card or username and password.

On the Ricoh MFD device, tap the reader with your ID card or enter your CCRI username and password on the display.

From the menu select the Scan icon, then select "Scan to My Email" to have the MFD scan the document directly to your email account or select "Scan to Custom Email" to scan documents to any other email address. All scans will appear as .PDFs when emailed.

You can then select "Back" for the previous menu or "Log Out". If you do not log out yourself, PaperCut will automatically log you out after 30 seconds.

What do I do when the MFD is out of toner or staples?

Please contact the Help Desk at #1112, if you find any Ricoh MFD in need of toner or staples. The Help Desk will send someone to replace the items needed. For department specific printers, the departments are responsible for ordering and replacing the toner.

What do I do when the printer is out of paper?

A stock of paper is kept near the Ricoh printer for convenient refills. A Facilities Work Order Request should be placed by departments near the MFD when stock runs low.

What do I do if the printer is jammed, printing badly, or has an error message?

For printer issues, please contact the Help Desk at 1112. You will need to provide the printer's location (room #), ID number, type of printer (Ricoh MFD or Hp) and issue specifics.

What is FollowMe?

FollowMe is a service at CCRI that allows you to print to any of the Ricoh MFD locations across the four campuses that have PaperCut installed. You can go to any available Ricoh MFD on any campus and release your print job, no waiting.

Which printers are on FollowMe?

FollowMe is being rolled out to the various CCRI campuses. Currently the Ricoh MFDs located on the Newport campus are on FollowMe. The Liston (Providence), Flanagan (Lincoln) and Knight (Warwick), campuses are scheduled for deployment May 15, May 29, and June 12, respectively.

I don't see the FollowMe printer on my machine, how do I install it?

  1. On a CCRI-Issued PC, access the File Explorer by either clicking on Computer option in the Start Menu or clicking on the folder icon in your Taskbar.
  2. In the address bar of the File Explorer type, \\vwppcprintsrv01\FollowMe and click enter. This will automatically install the FollowMe queue.
