The Faculty Senate approved a policy that work-based Learning (WBL) experiences will be built into at least one required course in every CCRI degree program. Career Services is thrilled to partner with faculty and Academic Affairs to increase equitable opportunities for career readiness through work-based learning. Starting in Fall 2024, more than 90% of the academic programs have a work-based learning course offered, more information about specific courses can be found on the College Catalog.
Faculty can utilize the Work-Based Learning Guide included below. We are creating a SharePoint for faculty to access WBL resources, and in the meantime please contact us at [email protected] for support integrating WBL activities into your course (e.g., course revisions to include WBL, activity templates, industry partner volunteer recruitment, language to include in the syllabus, pre and post-evaluations for internships, etc.).
